My Story

Bonjour, ciao, and hello,

I am French by birth and by my unmistakable accent; Italian by blood (all four grand-parents were Italian). When I started secondary school in Paris, I was inspired by my English teacher and that was the beginning of a story that is still going today: the love of English language and anything British. In the early 90’s I came to England to improve my English and started building a family here in 2003.

My professional life took me in various directions but always linked to languages. A PA to start and then for many years working at the press office of the Tour de France, managing cycling events around France and Europe. Then children came along which was my professional break - not a real break though, is it?

My BSR Story

Not in a million years did I think that today I would be helping people to improve their health and wellbeing, despite deep inside always being a helper. But my own experience with pain led me to Body Stress Release. One day I woke up and couldn’t move – my body was like a rigid plank and after a week of painkillers, nothing had improved. I tried different techniques, but nothing seemed to work. The tension was making slow but sure progress to my neck and the situation was becoming debilitating.

It was an awakening, because my body was trying to tell me to stop – a sign of emotional stress overload! I was in a bad place in my life taking on all the stress in the family. You very often accept that you have to live with pain and stiffness because you think nothing can be done…but it’s not true! Body Stress Release changed my life.

Body Stress Release changed my life for the first time when I first experienced the technique, and it changed my life for a second time when years down the line, I decided to train to become a practitioner; to be able to share this unique amazing technique.

I trained at the BSR UK Academy in 2017 leaving my family behind for 5-intensive months to go onto the residential course in beautiful Dorset with fellow students from all over Europe. I qualified in March 2018.

BSR looks at you holistically, not only from head to toe but back in time at your own personal history and any emotions that your body is holding on to. As all practitioners have experienced BSR and gone through their own personal journey, they are the best people to understand and explain why you and your body matter.

Simple and honest true words from a child: ‘It feels kind of weird but good. After a release I sleep so much better…can I have it again?’.

My motto? Be yourself – everyone else is taken!”
